I have now decided to add a serial port to my mount power hub, this will enable me to connect my scope handset directly to the hub, then in turn the serial port will be connected internally to the spare USB portinside the mount power hub, so everything will be connected to my observatory PC by just one USB cable.
Currently I have one USB cable and one scope control cable running underground to the obsy, this will eliminate the need for the scope control cable, then hopefully everything can be controlled through this single USB cable.
