I have created this web site to share my enjoyable, but challenging delve into the world of Astrophotography. I am by no means an expert, infact quite the opposite, i am finding the learning curve long, and sometimes frustrating but extremely enjoyable. I will be sharing my images and equipment used, on the relevent pages, and don't forget to check out the DIY section, for some great ideas to save some money. This is M27 the Dumbell Nebulae

Taken through LX90 with Canon 1000d DSLR and EOS LP Filter @ F6.3

Guided with Piggybacked ST80 and Meade DSI CCD and PHD Guide Software

Image captured with APT DSLR Tool

7 x 3min lights, 7 x 3min darks combined, subtracted, stacked and cropped with little a processing in Maxim DL.
